Cute Nutrition Review

So this post is different from my usual mum moans. Obviously having an early baby usually means you didn't get to be as big as full term, or at least I didn't. However that doesn't mean I don't have an unflattering pouch of skin left over from my baby bump.

Although people tell you you don't have any time for yourself, you sort of just think you'll be able to exercise and diet to get your pre-pregnancy body back. I don't know about you but I hardly have time to eat at all never mind eat healthy and meal plan. This is where Cute Nutrition came in to play. I noticed a few bloggers that I follow on instagram raving about these protein shakes that came in cocktail flavours which obviously caught my attention! Strawberry Daiquiri protein? Yes please! So I had a nose through their site. I was instantly captured by the packaging because it's just so, well, cute. Nice and simple and really catches your eye.

I really wanted the cocktail flavoured ones, but with them being protein shakes, and with me having a newborn who sucks up all my energy, I have next to no time for exercising. Obviously protein shakes don't aid in weight loss by themselves, so I had to look at other options.

During Christmas, Cute had an offer on for their 3 meal replacement flavours: Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry, their 14 day teatox and their limited edition white shaker for only something like £35 (I cant remember the exact price). But I snapped up that offer straight away!

I didn't start the diet until the new year because I knew I'd ruin my work with all the chocolate I'd be consuming over the Christmas period. I haven't been doing it long enough to see results but I thought I'd let you all know about what I think of it so far.

The teatox is very much like green tea. I mean it's obviously just like any other detox tea. I quite enjoy green tea so I like it, it's nice to have in the morning before my morning shake. If you don't like tea's like this though maybe you'd have to just try having boiling water and lemon in the morning instead of a teatox from them, I'm sure it'd do the same thing! It's just about having a good start to the day and giving your metabolism a kickstart.

The meal replacement shakes are AMAZING. I sort of don't even care if they don't have a massive impact upon my weight because they actually taste really nice! I've found meal replacement shakes in the past to taste sort of 'bleh', they always have sort of a yeasty aftertaste to them which is not exactly yummy.

These shakes are lush! The strawberry one is lovely and light, it reminds me of a cake mix I used to have for my toy cake oven when I was little. The vanilla one tastes like ice-cream which is great to have for when I'm needing something sweet to eat. Speaking of sweet, the chocolate one is to die for. You can even have it as a hot chocolate if you want by adding the milk warmed - yum yum yum! Because they're so nice they mean you don't want to snack throughout the day between meals.

I'd recommend Cute Nutrition to anyone, especially mum's who are super busy but wanting to shed the weight they gained during their pregnancy. I'm not saying don't exercise at all, I'm still trying to fit it in when I can but at 130 calories per shake, with low fat and great taste and flavour, who could complain?

Find Cute Nutrition on their instagram or their website to buy their products, keep your eye out for bundles like this one. They also have a vegan range and as I said a protein range for those who are dedicated to exercising.
